Xxxtreme Lightning Roulette by Evolution Gaming is a follow-up to the original Lightning Roulette, but now with two new great features.

Just like in the original game, you get up to 5 numbers boosted by Lightning Multipliers up to 500x. However, at random times extra numbers will be chosen to be multiplied via the Chain Lightning feature, while the equally random Double Strikes feature increases the payout up to 2,000x per number. The Xxxtreme Lightning roulette wheel comes with pockets for the numbers 1 to 36, plus a single pocket for zero. You can place bets on anything from a single number to a group of numbers, black/red colors, odd/even numbers and all the usual bets you may know from other roulette games. What makes this Xxxtreme Lightning stand out however, is the Chain Lightning feature and Double Strikes boost.

As the ball is released, which happens automatically after the betting stage of the game ends, the live host will pull a lever to generate the rounds’ Lightning Numbers. You will get 1 to 5 Lightning Numbers per round, and these come with random Lightning Multipliers of 50x, 100x, 150x, 200x, 250x, 300x, 350x, 400x and 500x. Only Straight Up bets can win boosted payouts.

In addition to the above, the Chain Lightning feature may trigger within any given game round, and this can add up to 9 additional Lightning Multipliers to random numbers. However, the total number of multiplied numbers cannot exceed 10, so this is like an extra booster that keeps the suspense up as the round plays out.

To top it all off, the Double Strikes feature may kick in at random times too, and it increases the Lightning Multipliers up to 600x to 2,000x. If you placed a Straight Up bet on a winning number that is highlighted with a Lightning Multiplier, your bet is boosted accordingly and paid. You can use autoplay if you want to place the same bets for a number of rounds chosen up front.

Xxxtreme Lightning Roulette is a pretty exciting follow-up to the regular Lightning Roulette concept, basically piling on more possibilities for Lightning Multipliers to strike, as well as the possibility of far more lucrative boosts. You get all the fun from regular roulette, with the added tension of the multipliers that are guaranteed to grace at least 1 Straight Up bet number per round. The downside is that unboosted Straight Up bets pay 19x, as opposed to 30x in the original Lightning Roulette and 35x in regular roulette.

One of the Lightning numbers can also be zero, which is the number of the House, but usually you will get more than one Lightning Multiplier number even from the standard Lightning Round. With the added Chain Lightning feature, your chances of hitting a boosted number seems increased, but the RTP remains at 97.3 % also in this version. The Double Strikes feature bumps the potential up to 2,000x your stake, and Xxxtreme Lightning Roulette has no trouble living up to the ‘Xxxtreme’ label.
